Your spending
How this works. A bonus counts as reachable when your monthly spending × the bonus period, plus your one-off purchases, covers the stated minimum spend. Bonus values are our stated cash values (points at our published point values). First-year value = bonus value minus the first-year annual fee; some issuers waive the first year, which would only make a card look better. Rewards earned on the spending itself are not added, so cards are compared on the bonus alone. Don’t spend more than you normally would to reach a bonus: interest on a carried balance wipes out the value fast.
Estimates for comparison, not financial advice. Offers, fees, rates and APRs are shown as stored in our database and can change at any time; confirm current terms on the issuer’s site before you apply. Partner links, where they exist, never change the results. Affiliate disclosure.

Frequently asked questions
How much do I need to spend to get a credit card sign-up bonus?
Most bonuses ask for $500 to $6,000 of purchases within the first three months; premium and business cards ask for more. Enter what you already spend to see which bonuses you can earn without changing your habits.
Do balance transfers or cash advances count toward the minimum spend?
Almost never. Issuers usually count purchases only, minus returns; balance transfers, cash advances and fees are excluded. Check the offer terms on the issuer’s site.
Is it worth getting a card just for the bonus?
It can be, if the bonus is worth much more than the first-year fee and you can reach the spend with purchases you would make anyway. Applying for many cards in a short time can lower your credit score and some issuers limit how often you can earn a bonus.
How are bonus values calculated?
Cash-back bonuses count at face value. Points and miles bonuses count at our published value for that currency, which is what a typical redemption gets, not the best possible one.
